Why serve

The work is the difference.

A movement this size isn’t built by leadership alone. Behind every petition signed and every county organized stands a Texian who gave their time to it.

You don’t need a title or a political background. You just have to show up. Pick the role that fits the hours you can give, and the rest is work we do together.

VolunteerCommunications

Content Writer

As a Content Writer, you put the case for Texas independence into words people actually read. You write the articles, posts, and explainers that tell Texians what's happening and why it matters to them. You dig into a topic until you understand it cold, you call the leaders and members who know it firsthand, and you turn all of that into copy that's clear enough for anyone to follow. You'll pick a beat and own it, becoming the person the team turns to on that subject. Write well here and you help thousands of Texians see that their state can govern itself.

Director of Communications

The Director of Communications owns TNM's public voice. You run the Texian Brief, the press relationships, the social channels, and the brand, and you keep every one of them saying the same clear thing: Texas can and should govern itself. When a reporter calls or a story breaks, you're the steady hand who answers fast and on message. Get this right and the movement is impossible to ignore.

Deputy Director for International Engagement – North America

The Deputy Director for International Engagement, North America is TNM's point of contact for every relationship across the continent outside Texas borders. You build the connections with pro-independence groups, political organizations, and advocacy networks in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico that make the Texas independence argument land beyond state lines. When a conference happens, a media opening appears, or a foreign group wants to learn about the TNM, you're the one who shows up and speaks clearly. This role sits under the Director of International Engagement and directly advances the movement's credibility on the international stage.

Director of Personnel

The Director of Personnel owns how the TNM finds and keeps the people who run this movement. You identify the gaps on the National Leadership Team, recruit members to fill them, and make sure every new volunteer lands well and stays engaged. This is the role that makes every other role possible. Get it right and the movement grows faster than it loses people.
